The Spear and Jackson razorsharp telescopic ratchet anvil lopper is ideal for cutting thick stems of dead, woody material and are better suited for heavy-duty use than tools with a bypass action as they are less likely to distort or spread when cutting thicker stems. These loppers feature a powerful ratchet action which allows cutting in small progressive strokes to cut through thick branches with ease. The c50 carbon steel blades have been hardened and tempered for durability and the cutting blade is PTFE coated for a smoother cutting action and resistance to rust. The simple to use telescopic handles provide the user with greater reach, lengthening the handles from 460 mm (18 Inch) to 720 mm (28 Inch) and are operated by a simple twist and lock mechanism, the handles are also finished with non-slip grips for a secure grip during use.
